My 20-year career has spanned operational, investing, and advisory roles.

For the past 10 years, I have held leadership positions in operations, marketing, and product management in the technology industry. I have been fortunate to be part of the teams that brought many "firsts" to the world, including the ability to get Amazon or Whole Foods delivered to your door in under 2 hours and the launch of the world's first fully autonomous rideshare service by Waymo (Google’s self-driving car subsidiary). In all of these experiences, I was responsible for leading teams to build simple solutions to complex operational problems, resulting in seemingly magical customer experiences.

I have also been an investor at Platinum Equity, a private equity group that believes in delivering value through operational excellence. During my time there, I evaluated and executed M&A transactions across various industries, and worked directly with management teams on a variety of strategic initiatives to drive growth and profitability.

At Harris Williams & Co. I worked directly with the founders and CEOs of Middle Market companies to help position their company in the market, identify the right buyer to carry on their legacy, and execute a transaction that met the personal and financial goals of all parties.

I have an MBA from Wharton and an engineering degree from Stanford, but the most valuable lessons I have learned in business were not learned in the classroom. I believe that the right answer almost always starts by asking what is best for the customer, and that the most effective way to achieve results is by growing and empowering the people around you.

I’m a Seattle native and Seahawks fan currently living amongst 49ers nation in Redwood City, CA. I love going to concerts and spending time outdoors in the mountains snowboarding and mountain biking, or out on the water kiteboarding, wake surfing, or just boating with friends and family. My wife Brooke and I also enjoy doing yoga and exploring new places and cultures together. As of late, our #1 hobby is trying to keep up with our 9-month old son Lukas and our French Bulldog Zoe.
